Doubt if you will find one that will work off a 600 watt inverter. We have a single gas hob, recently put in a 600w pure sine inverter (the biggest I could afford), I'm looking for a low wattage sandwich maker or mini grill, any ideas where and what to get ?

its funky and also reminds me of the one my mum had in the 60's. it was always fun watching one of my mates screaming as he bit into a toasted jam sandwich for the first time and the molten lava ran down his chinNever understood the Diablo thing surely square is better unless your doing bagels. Plenty on ebay and cheaper.

Sure can, had some lovely cheese toasties out of our 20 year old skillet today! You can make toasted sandwiches on your single gas ring with a Double Skillet.)

I've had my sandwich maker for nearly fifty years ... works for me.
It's over 50 years now! I think she would probably say it's me that has the high running costs.I suspect high running costs though.

So. Can anyone help. I would like a simple method of making cheese on toast without having to use the gas grill in the van. Have a panini grill, far too big to use but works with lid propped open. Any suggestions? Thanks
