hi everyone, taking my first trip out in my mh this weekend, we are going to Benidorm area of Spain, can anybody tell me how much roughly it will cost me if I go the toll roads from Calais to Benidorm, thank you

An easy way to find out toll costs is too use the via michelin app which will allow you to plot routes with or without tolls and give you costs (it's free)

Via Michelin say €140 but thats for a car, so for a class 2 motorhome.. I would say €180-220 as a guide.
I do Benidorm often and here is my route... If time is important than take the tolls or use a combination.

Be aware that some tolls can be charged at class 3, if you are over 3.5 tons and or over 3m high, that nearly doubles the tolls and makes the toll free options far more attractive

We have just done a 2 week 2000 mile trip round France and not paid one bean in tolls

Its a nice trip when you avoid tolls. Hardly ever use them.

Thank you guys for your replies, I have taken all your advice on board, and no nelly it's not a weekend trip lol , hope to meet some of you funsters on our first rally with the funsters in April at Peterborough, thanks again pammie

Also bear in mind that us and lots of others are over the height and weight and have rarely if ever paid more

If you need the time tolls are quicker, but allow for 300 euro's on top of fuel - however the non toll road are fine and you see and enjoy much more and save loads of money even with the extra few km's

we are heading to benicassim, doing part toll part not, will probably do all non toll on way back though. Have used the intercom for group 2 usually works ok. Love meandering through the French and Spanish Countryside, but these bloomin roundabouts. grr

Reading all this as we are coming in to Calais for a two month trip to Spain.With time on our hands we plan 4 nights through France toll free.Never used tolls but if we did it seems at 4.25 we would be looking at 300 euro each way ! If on limited time it would be cheaper to fly and rent.

You can get the class 2 tolls from Via Michelin too - tick the "caravan" box in options.
Class 2 tolls Calais -> Benidorm = €182.65

Why use tolls unless your time is very limited,,you miss lovely scenery,,beautiful towns and villages,,,I try my best not to use motorways even in the UK. BUSBY

You may find this helpful with your routes. The route suggested by @tonka is more or less as stated in the French link. Also, suggest you take the N-121-A at Irun to Pamplona and then across and down the A7 to Beni. all toll free.
