That's 110 bacon rolls ordered. Closing this thread later tonight as need to order the rolls and get extra bacon.

I have a pipe and regulator but no BBQ to get @Armytwowheels working. Note to self. Pick up the regulator with the sound gear tomorrow.

So a 3 hour drive plus a McDonalds stop.. Aiming for a 9pm arrival if thats ok
If things go belly up and I arrive later will park down the bottom by the ped track until morning..

Just arrived home - travelled cross country and it only took us 5 hours! Still we avoided all roads with an ‘M’ in them so saw some lovely countryside!

Thanks to John and his team for a fab weekend. The music was brill, the races were exciting, as was the auction, and the phenomenal amount raised for the Air Ambulance, was, well, phenomenal!

We had a blast meeting up with old mates and meeting some lovely new ones. Sorry we missed saying cheerio to quite a few, but they’de already gone off on bikes, taken kids into town etc before we’de surfaced!

Every time I come home from a meet like this, I’m forever thankful that I joined MHFun instead of others that came up when I Googled ‘Motorhome clubs’ !

Hi John, thanks for the thought but don't worry about popping back to the club as we always carry 2 of each key on the van so was not stopped from getting into or locking lockers plus I have a couple spares at home as I apt loosing keys or rather where I have put them for safe keeping.

A big big thank you to you and the gang for yet another brilliant weekend and really hoping there will be another one next year.

A mention to Thetford Rugby Club is in order too, as they really looked after us well this year
Spoke to the chairman this morning who thanked us for holding the event there and assured me we are most welcome back

And yes, once again I have been brow beaten into doing it all again next year !!

Have not had time to tot up all the moneys yet but with about £1100 raised at the auction, I think all in all air ambulance will be getting around £1800 !

We had a great time at our first Thetford bash so a massive thanks to John (and his band of helpers) for a fantastic event. Apologies that I missed your departure John (I was out ripping it up on that monster Grom! ).

Very much looking forward to attending again next year.

It’s a little quieter here now with only a few stragglers left.

You never know, I might have a faster bike (both for the ride out and the ped races ) next year. @chris vickers, I’ll have your cup next year

Just to add our thanks. It was also our first visit to Thetford and very enjoyable. At the far side of the field near the trees, our satellite was only pointing at the woods but the entertainment made TV completely unnecessary. Food was great value and drinks in the bar OK too, so we had a great time. Well done and thanks to all who played a part.

Sorry we missed the kangaroo racing, though!
