What did I say about Narfuk ? It was 85 in Bury St Edmunds Yesterday and today. Its all sunbathing and barbeques here.

We must have been the wrong side of Bury yesterday then ! Was at Coppers Close ( behind the brewery ) briefly and is was drizzling there too !

it was lovely in Pembrokeshire yesterday and we spent all afternoon on the beach.

This morning it is wet and blowing a gale.

We get spoilt with the weather in the South East I think.

Set off for Italy in an hour or so on the motorbike staying in Folkestone tonight.

Safe trip,Italy,Ms and my favorite touring place,food and wine great so go and enjoy,have been away for a 3 day trip on my triumph around the mountains of Sweden and Norway,great sites and best of all NO Rain,so Enjoy Regards Alf.

We aint so much touring as blasting down, partying and doing ride outs for several days from base camp at Mori ( close to Riva Del Garda ), then blasting back again next Sunday / Monday

We being:
Forestboy, Hilldweller, Edgy, Scotties, Electric Mike ( I think.. but Richards bro ) and my self.

Richard and I are leaving Thetford at 0630 tomorrow morning.. Hopefully the rain will hold off at least for a while.
Packed a spare pair of gloves and have just dubbin'd the boots !

yes I had the heating on in the van Friday evening and got very wet walking the dog. But Saturday was a lovely warm and sunny day - I was staying down at Hurley Riverside park and visited Hurley village fete - A traditional fete with beer tent and hog roast. Then today was another wash out!!

On the Isle of Wight , friday first day of real rain for what seems months my grass is almost brown (now a wet colour ) today bright sunshine.

Flipping typical First real rain we have on the island for ages and we were at the VDub festival We decided to leave early when it started chucking it down again this morning, as after Friday's downpour the camping fields were getting quite chewed up and the exit was very sticky. A baptism of fire for me as I was driving and had to get off the field and out through a gateway without slipping and sliding. I did it! and we aren't getting a divorce

Been dry in Derbyshire (well where we are near Alfreton) for the last 3 years. BUSBY.

But on a brighter note it sounds as if my runner beans etc... are getting a good watering back home in Swansea

Back from a very wet Wellend Steam fair weekend. Friday was torrential rain all day and night. Saturday was ok we were able to wear shorts and tshirts also managed to sit through a very disappointing show from the Bay City Rollers The firework dispaly was fantastic so made up for it. Then Sunday morning the heavens opened again 8.00am on the dot as weatherman had predicted so we gave up and came home

Aye, I've just put the fire on too. Unheard of in July. I live in a valley and have been 'blessed' with north west winds for what seems like months. I'm sitting here in a woolley jumper and socks holding the dog and cat close for extra warmth.

Just two warm sunny days without rain would do for me. I'm not greedy. Just two days and I will say we've had a summer.

Grrr.
