Well we are here. Let's hope we don't get stuck . Moffat is the next stop for new year.
Here's a few pictures. You can't beat this. Freezing cold outside and toasty warm inside. Thank goodness for Webasto , good batteries and a solar panel. Who needs hook up ?

Love moffat skinny hotel the star I used to call in there once a week for thirty years when on lorries from down south here , stayed there in mh in oct, brought back good memories

Tan Hiil is a great pub, have fond memories of the place. Not sure if it is the same landlord but when we were there a few years back they had a great sense of humour. When the sun was shining they played Caribbean music and as soon as it clouded over we were listening to Christmas carols!!!!

This was at 8.30am this morning , I don't know if you can make them out. 6 couples and 2 dogs in three little tents. They arrived in the dark last night, set up , then went in the pub for an hour and then bedded down. We offered them cups of tea, but they declined.
Proper camping!
Then again it's not as cold as it looks , 2 degrees outside now at 9.45.
Ralphs cooking breakfast , then we are heading off.

Watching country file tonight they mentioned a new program starting Wednesday evening 9 pm. Britains secret places. We shall be tuning in as it's our sort of program.
Tan Hill Inn popped up on the promo . There we were , in mizzie, in the same spot. But lovely blue summer sky.
