As per title. Received a message this morning that data will be capped at 12GB per month .
All my fault as I've only just bought one a couple of weeks ago for our trip to Spain Which starts on the 24th of Feb.

Can you buy extra roaming data if you need it?

Smarty offers this, but at £1 per gb

I suppose if you don't want to buy a local sim then looking for UK sim providers that offer 'add-ons' which give you roaming without extortionate daily costs might be the way to go, not looked into this so you'll need to do your own research.

Not had an email myself yet. But our useage is mainly for emails and a bit of Facetime so hopefully we will be below the limit when we tour Spain in the Spring!

If you buy a local SIM in the EU, you can use it anywhere in the EU. On my last trip, I bought one in Ireland, which worked in Ireland and France. Then I bought one in France that worked OK in France and Spain. The one I bought in Spain worked in Spain, France, Germany, Belgium and Netherlands.

I did buy one a couple of months ago to take with us next week but at £20 a month I will be leaving it at home, fortunately I have not activated it yet so not paying out.

Perhaps I may not be up to speed on this, what's new, but my Vodafone contract is unlimited everything, can't tell you how much I pay for it corse it would p you all off but are you saying that it won't be unlimited in Europe anymore as I havnt heard anything.

How much data can I use abroad with Vodafone?

All our pay monthly plans are subject to a 25GB roaming fair use policy. This means that if your UK allowance is greater than 25GB, you can use up to 25GB data a month while roaming.
