Hi Funsters, I just got my eye-watering renewal (to me, at least) from CMHC. I've tried a couple of other companies for a quote but because my PVC is parked on my street, not a driveway, they decline me or offer a ridiculous premium. Any suggestions most welcome! Thanks

we used Adrian Flux for 1 year for the doblo wanted x4 for next renewal, quote when we changed from the CI to the Laika was even worse. I am with LV the laika with highway. Takes a lot of phoning round every year to get a reasonable price.

Always fascinates me why they decline to insure a 50,60 70 k van parked in the road but rarely bat an eyelid at a 130k car ?

thanks all - as gus-lopez said, there seems to be an aversion to covering a £40k PVC parked on a quiet side street. The quotes I've had are ludicrous, in one case with a requirement to have a tracker installed. I've stayed with the Club broker.
