I had really hoped the tide might have gone back out by this morning

and a reminder for anybody not come out yet, these mats really do deceive, they float

not many dry spots left anywhere now, although I think this area is about as low as it gets on the race course

the good news is Lola has more or less dried out, the bad news all the wet on her is now inside the windscreen and who didn't pack his Karcher, had it out at home doing the windows, who needs that in June I thought when packing

Just about to try and extract my E+P's from the field and move out of my pond

Those photos David make it look like you have been abandoned and all the other Funsters have legged it and are presumably in the pub!!

When I left southport I was envious that I couldn't make the Stratford meet, having seen the weather I'm not so sure. Make sure you all have water wings on just in case!!

I havn't. I am practising swimming for next Swan Race..

It continued to rain all night albeit not as heavily.

Just got our first rainy morning on our nearly 4 week travels in Germany. So sitting inside and browsing I came across these photos of Stratford and feel much better! At least I know the sun will be out later.
I saw the heading for the rally and said to BH, that sounds nice, lovely sunny walks along the Avon. I hope you got some of those as well as the handy duck ponds/ swimming pools.

Tomorrow is another day... we will be fine. At least it isn't that 6" horrible thick, black, squelchy mud that we have had at other meets.

Someone just seemed to float past me like the Queen Mary .. then I realised they were being pushed manually by lot of men!!

Hi looks like the swan race allover again, you should be fine @movan your well equipped, get the shower cap, goggles and waterproof poncho on, not forgetting the bucket to bail the water . should have had my blowy up ring thing with you, could have done a few lengths around the track it looks deep enough. Hope the weather improves, but there again it will take more than a bit of rain to put you hardy funsters off. I've got the mat out for you all, on the way have fun . Mew.

Great pictures david, bet Lola takes some drying out. Should have had some paddles, could have used the mats as rafts and started the Stratford mat race to follow on from the southport swan race . judging by the earlier thread, looks like the weather is improving, hoooray my pray mat works . Mew.

Help needed, please.......

The plastic front spoiler and undertray came unclipped from Dawn's Fiesta when I got stuck last night. It should need just re-clipping or possibly a cable tie or two; in any case a 5 minute job (Thanks @Gromett ) - I've got Milenco Quattro ramps we can put the front wheels up but due to the back surgery I am forbidden to do anything like getting under the front bumper to clip them back on.

Please can I have a volunteer to do this tomorrow? Beer/gin/wine supplied.

@DuxDeluxe can probably find some cable ties if you are lacking those, but with my eyesight they could be wrapped round all the wrong things if I try and fit them
