The weather now in Benidorm makes me think Feb is not a good time. It's gone grim.

Got to ask, if it's not significantly better than GB then why bother.

Other big question is what is nearby in the way of towns, bars, restaurants ?

PS: BellaVista is about 500kms south of Benidorm, and we've just had 25 straight days of +25 degs C & blue skies. Not bad for Feb. Have you seen the UK weather recently?oh:

Ok guys.. The "ex Morrocans" have used their best learned haggle techniques, drank coffee and come away with the following:

A meet / rally to start on 5th March 2014 here at La Bellavista.
Running for 3 weeks.
Note.. the weekend of 28th feb is a public holiday in this part of Spain and sites will be busy.

Price negotiated is €14 a day per van, to include 1 or 2 people and includes Electricity (16amp). A calendar month can be negotiated once you are here if you wish. A figure of €360 has been mentioned BUT electric will then be charged seperate. So that wont be far off the €14 anyway.

So thats the basics... Andrew is going to post some up to date photos shortly.
Mr Motorhome and myself will keep contact with Rudi, site manager to keep him informed.
There is no commitment, no deposit, all being done by goodwill as I am sure many will want to go..

We have an allocation of 30 spaces at present....

So at this stage with still a year to go, have a think about it and later we will start a list.. :thumb:

2.) Manilva, ten minutes casual walk (good lighting at night) from the campsite. There is a smaller town only 5 mins walk from the campsite with bars a restrurants. Good cycling conditions.

We are currently at Lo Monte but moving up to Almafra on Thursday for 9 days, weather here tomorrow is supposed to be drizzle all day.

We can't commit fully at the moment as we have to go back to the UK in late March and buy a new home as we sold ours in November.

We're having 3 nights here then going to visit my cousins up in the mountains above Torre Del Mar. Friday we'll be heading back to the safety and sanity of Zahora!

Bit of flawed logic there. At 1400 miles or so from Calais a week is nothing in comparison to the traveling expenses.
