HI all.
My solar controller has only got one battery outlet on it for my leisure batteries but i also need to charge my vehicle battery so i have ordered a new controller with batt 1 and batt 2. My question is what size cable do i need to go from the controller to my vehicle battery.
Many thanks:xThumb:

4 or 6mm square cable should do.. most panels come with the 4mm square just in case you need something to compare with..

Large enough to cope with the amperage generated by your solar panel, which in the grand run of things, is not great. I am sure a technical boffin will be able to give a more precise cable size.

You do not need to use the double insulated type cable that runs from the solar panel to the controller you can use a good quality single insulated copper cable for the run to the battery from the controller.
I bought mine from AES
