After enjoying everyone’s rallies for the past few years, we thought we ought to put the effort in to organise our own Rally, and show people the area we live in.
We found a small CL campsite on a farm in a lovely village called Silkstone not too far from our town of Barnsley.
This is a 4 day Rally running from Thursday 14th to Monday 18th July 2022.
Arrivals must be on Thursday only from 12pm.
This site gets great reviews on pitchup.com 9.5 out of 10
The price is £44 per unit for the weekend, with a £20 non refundable deposit.
Remainder to be paid by 1st June.
Deposits to be paid when you put your name down
Details removed as we are full.

There is a bus stop 5 minutes away to get to Barnsley or Penistone, with the train station 10 minutes away to get to Sheffield or Meadowhall shopping Centre.
There are 3 pubs within a 10 minute walk, Coop 5 minute walk away.
Channel 5's The Farm which is Cannon Hall Farm, is 3 miles away but no bus service, so a nice country stroll. It’s a beautiful area surrounded by countryside.
This is a great rural location for those seeking places to walk or ride bikes: you can stroll directly from the farm into woodlands and green countryside, or set out to see places like Pot House Hamlet and the historic site of the Huskar Pit disaster. The Silkstone Waggonway is close by for cyclists and walkers, and more intrepid bike riders might like to note that this farm is just off the Trans Pennine Trail (roughly at its halfway point, in fact). And of course, the Peak District National Park is but a few miles away…
The CL is a 5 pitch site, but we should be able to comfortably get 20 vans on. It’s a slightly sloping site, but most pitches are level. Please bring levelling ramps.
Toilets and showers and water are close by along with the Elsan point. There are no electric hook ups at all, so polish your solar panels… Dogs are also very welcome..loads of walks through the country side are available.

Cannon Hall, is a stately home and gardens, turned into a museum..It’s a beautiful house and the gardens and park are a joy to walk around. As it’s in Yorkshire it’s the best bang for you buck you can get, totally free, just like we like it..
