With what's been going on the last couple of years with shows and rallies being cancelled I am reluctant to try to plan too far ahead BUT I know you lot are eager to get this years calendar booked up so here goes.

We have done this before and a few funsters have attended and hopefully enjoyed it, the family vintage show is on Shrewsbury showground and as the name suggests it is "vintage" cars, bikes, tractors, steam engines, plus stalls and even tractor pulling sometimes, we camp on the showground so you have to purchase two days admission for the show (price to be confirmed but it's not a lot of money)

I have EDITED the above to reflect the fact that the Vintage show itself will now not be on this weekend BUT WE WILL STILL BE THERE.

the lovely town of Shrewsbury is a 15 minute average walk and boasts two YES two Wetherspoons, and some decent pubs as well railway station in town if you fancy an excursion and if anybody wants to do a canoe trip again that could be organised.

Price will be £13 non electric or £17 with.

The start and finish dates can be a bit flexible, we will be travelling there from the Bridlington "race the waves rally" so might be earlier than the 23rd.

Let's say 40 places to start with and I will blag more space if required.

Yes I know it's all a bit informal at the moment so just put your names down as interested and stick it on your calendar, we will sort the details later.

Usual facilities, water, elsan (including drive over black tank) EHU and rubbish bins.

If anybody wants to help marshall that would be great

Thank you, and I know what a "pinnie" is are you a he or a she? we usually rope the boys in for frying and the girls for making up and taking money, I have three "pinnies" for the boys and Mrs funflair will have hers

Hi Stephen

The canoe/kayak didn't develop legs or should that be flippers so we won't be progressing that, the guys doing the hire may be on site if anybody wants to have a go themselves or I will have my canoe and anybody who still fancies it can have a go with or without me.

I am quietly confident that my wife "Jen" will be spending a fair amount of time knitting, if anybody else has a similar interest or fancies a go at something different you could hunt us down and compare work.

There are lots of them

Not all knitted to be fair but I have spotted another set of dismembered body parts laying around the house so there must be another one on the way, I shouldn't complain though as it keeps her quiet while I drive but does give other drivers a bit of a fright sometimes as we are left hand drive

I will also add that there are a couple of decent material shops in Shrewsbury and they are quite close to the Wetherspoons "man creche"

I have just opened this thread.

Vintage what?

If I were in UK and turned up, would ours be the only 'Vintage' MH? Is is only 2003 but is registered in Poland as 'Vintage' on the papers. Long story.

Not a lot of vintage actually Geoff as the "vintage show" was cancelled for whatever reason, I don't think 2003 would win you any prizes other than furthest travelled possibly If you can get over you would be most welcome though
