The one thing for sure is that the weather will do whatever it want's and there is nothing we can do about it, other than dress appropriately and crack on.

It's a lovely day here at the showground. 2day weather forecasts have been very wrong twice in the last four days so come prepared for anything because the forecasters are not being too helpful.

A483 through Wrexham then A5 through Oswestry. I wouldn't bother with the minor roads, ignore sat nav and use the signs

That was option 1 for me but it looks like it come into Shrewsbury wrong unless I go right round on the a5 , option 2 was a41then a49

That’s fine Then approach on A5 and A458 will bring you over Welsh bridge and the riverside but you keep left at the low bridge sign so all is OK.

We somehow manage a different route each time we go but the sat nav will try and take you down narrow lanes as said w avoid these, as funflair has said, do not go by the low bridge.
When you get to the show ground it's a very sharp turn you come on quickly be aware.

We would normally use A483 and A5. We realise that the rail strike will affect all routes, so may have the A49 as a backup reserve. It looks like one journey where the traffic option on the sat nav might be useful as the journey begins.

I will be in later today so any time after that, just give a time and I will set my alarm seriously though there is a gate that will be locked but I can open it so anytime really.

Made a boo boo with my dates - thought the meet started on Friday, so have only paid 4 nights
Will it be ok to pay on arrival on Thursday afternoon for an extra night?
I've tried calling Jan but haven't been able to catch her [yet].

All being well, should turn up about 4pm Thursday 23rd - I have to detour for a scan before noon.

Currently on the C&CC site at Ebury Hill, just outside Shrewsbury. Will probably do a shop at the Aldi or Morissons to the north on the way in Thursday morning, so will arrive between 10:00 & 11:00 if that is not to early.

On the basis that its the last 200 metres of any route where you/we usually go wrong, this is your left turn onto Gravel Hill Lane, assuming you are coming from the town of course,

You can't miss the left turn into the site, no that isn't a challenge

Once you are through the gate keep to your right and follow the road around the arena and come in the gate directly opposite the main building, you will be met at the gate and parked up, water is in the main arena so if you need to fill your tank tell the marshal.
