RAdio Interference (1 Viewer)

Hi got a 2017 Chausson , on a Fiat , we have just fitted a kenwood Radio / Sat Nav DAB but have interference on Radio ,if anyone has had experience of this and how can we overcome this problem ? a cure would be very much appreciated .

If you have any accessories, sat nav or dash cam plugged into cigarette socket or usb, try unplugging first.
The cables act as an arial and cause interference on the radio

You may well find the crap useless aerial in the nearside mirror housing is to blame.
Mr vanbitz fitted a little hard to see aerial on the inside of my windscreen. Massive difference. (Did fit new radio as well)

Recently had a Kenwood DAB fitted by Autosounds on Scotswood Road, Newcastle (happy to recommend). Included in the fitting was a proper DAB aerial, which is discretely stuck to the inside of the screen - reception is fine. Not sure if the original FM aerial is being used as well, although I never had any problems except when an oldish netbook computer was using the power socket nearby. Mind, have yet to use it on a full trip so we'll see.
