Just a quick update folks.

My Pa has been in hospital just over a week and I'm very sorry to say that things have taken a turn for the worse and being as there's only me I'm not confortable being away at this time.

After losing mum, husband & brother in law I know that I need to be able to live with myself afterwards, happy that I've done what I could.

I'm so sorry to let everyone down & I hope that you all have a great time in this fab weather in that lovely little town.

Very many thanks to funflair & JockandRita agreeing to carry on & run the meet.

Debs, sorry you are not going to make the meet you will be missed. You need to be with you're Pa you wouldn't want it any other way. Sending big hugs to you, thinking of you at this tough time.

Yes quite a few on the steam train to Whitby but back on earlier train as a power cut robbed us of our Fish n Chips,

Yep we went on the train too this morning - got our fish and chips before The Great Powercut! Can home earlier than expected due to dogs been knackered and all the pubs / cafes being shut! Really enjoyed the train rides though, beautiful countryside.

Well I came to your aid but alas I think I might have been too late. Good to see you again and everybody else who was on site and beerdrinker1 who was in another room at the pub. Paul you better let Chrysalis know that the A1 and M18 were solid with traffic from the A1/M18 junction.

I thought I recognised those hills Trev..?
I went looking in my photos and think ive got it lol..
I was up that way earlier this year paddling..
But had a ride down both sides of torridon before the paddling .. stunning countryside...
This one cant be far off where you took yours from ?
