If anyone has to cancel I would be very happy to buy your tickets off you. Not sure if it's allowed as cannot find anything on Warners website about cancellation or transferring tickets, but worth a try.

I cannot help you with the distance between the General Camping and MotorhomeFun pitches, however I am pretty certain that you will not get electricity. Electric hook ups are only available to those pitched in the Disabled area.

Hi defiance, when booking did you ask to be pitched with MotorhomeFun ??
If you did you will be directed to the Funsters designated area upon your arrival. You will also be on the list of MotorhomeFun attendees given to us by the show organisers.

If you did not you will be directed to the General Camping area. You will however be able to walk over to the Funsters area should you wish to join us during the day and evening, you will be most welcome.

Brisey.

Hi Jim,
Although I made my booking on line on 8th January, I am unable to recall if I made a request to park with MHF. My ticket just states Blue Ticket (General Area) and my assumption was by confirming my booking with you and being added to your list (No.18) I would automatically be parked with the rest of the Funsters.

In reading your initial post I note there is no specific instruction when booking, to request parking with a specific group?

My assumption is that as you have my name on your list I will be directed to the Funster area on arrival. Is this correct!

Regards,
Philip

Hi Philip, I do not think that your assumption is correct. The information passed on to me, as a marshal, from the show organisers shows the Blue Area to be for Pre Booked General Camping. If you can send me a PM with your surname and vehicle registration number I can check them against the list of MotorhomeFun attendees supplied to us by the show organisers.

I think you will find that you need to book with Warner and State that your club is Motorhome Fun (an receive a discount) to be able to park with fun. Warners will put you in the General Area if thats what your ticket states.

Hi Sonja,
I followed the link on the advert in Jim's first post, so I assume this would have been with Warner, but for the life of me cannot remember if I said I was already a member of MHF. I thought by giving my name to Jim after making the booking I would be added to the list of people who had made the same request ! Lets hope I completed the form correctly otherwise were heading for a disappointing.

Regards,
Philip

Welcome to the Big One - The Peterborough Show. Easily the largest outdoor show of the year. We should have a great time, there is plenty to see and plenty of entertainment laid on by the organisers. If this is your first time with us, you might be disappointed to learn that we don’t have an initiation ceremony, sorry about that:Smile:

Once parked up, if your rally marshal hasn’t already done so; please do introduce yourself to your neighbours. Our rallies are a laid back affair, and no one will insist that you take part in anything; you are free to spend your weekend as you wish. Some members will wander over to the official show entertainment, others will dress warm and head to our own event shelters and chat with other Funsters. Feel free to do as you wish. During the show we have a few optional get-togethers in and around the tentage area.

Coffee and Cake - Saturday 11am
A good time to meet other Funsters in on Saturday at 11am, you bring the coffee (or a cup of tea), and we’ll supply the cake. Feel free to bring some cake along if you wish.

Communal Barbie Saturday 5pm
We have a few large BBQs (Thanks Sundowners) and you can bring your food along and cook it on those, or cook it in your van and then bring it over. Feel free to bring along some bread, salad or dessert to share, but not too much.

Sunday Breakfast - Between 10am and 11am
Our Sunday morning bacon rolls are always popular at just £1 Bring along a coffee and an appetite between 10am and 11am.

Raffle. We are raising funds to buy a number of Event Shelters for our rallies that cost around £200 each. Providing prizes or buying raffle tickets is entirely voluntary. We already have some great prizes, but if you have something we can add to the pot that would be great. Rally Marshals have the tickets at £1 a strip and the draw will be made at 11am on Sunday. Please don’t buy tickets if you cannot make the draw.

We hope you enjoy this rally, If you have any problems at all over the weekend, please don’t hesitate to contact any of the rally marshals or alternatively you can contact Jim or Siân on xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Have fun.

Your Rally Marshals.
Brisey and Pamelaaar - Brian and Pam
Champers and Sheriff - Kath and John
Jim and Siân - Jim and Siân
