We went to one of our favourite restaurants for lunch today leaving at noon and returning at 6pm. Menu of the day for 5 courses including wine 16 Euros. This place should have a Michelin star. Its in the beautiful Jalon valley and if it were in any part of the UK you would expect no change out of £100 per head.
G&T aperitif, just to get the stomach juices working, followed by home made thick celery soup and hot bread rolls. A full wedge of hot bread crumbed Brie and salad. Followed by Mixed sorbet. Main course of salmon and prawn in tarogen cream sauce with roasted Mediterranean vegetables. Finishing off with Baileys cheesecake and coffee. Superb.
