Sat here at the NEC show waiting for the live launch of the new Morelo Palace, I think it costs around 200 grand. I’m surrounded by people who bought their own flasks for hot drinks and are busy opening bacofoil packaging revealing their tired looking cheese sandwiches. That’s how they do it.

Me I just spent a days wages on a coffee and designer sarnie!! :D

They are going to have to start making pitches bigger. Three or four where we are in Spain. Last night on the Aire we were on there was a Swedish one.

Mind you they are cheap compared to the boats and yachts in Alicante Harbour. Makes you wonder where some people get their money from.

...but they will be pipe-dreaming tyre-kickers.

Guilty as charged, but at least I know some little oik wiping their nose on their sleeve didn't make my tuna and sweetcorn sarny and as for the coffee sold up there, I would worry what it would do to my grey waste tank if I poured down there. ;)

So no money left for any sweets then Jim he!he!

Jim.

Should by now appreciate that a captive audience has to PAY for their arrogance.
(no apologies, credited to Dogbert)

Previous experience at the NEC has confirmed eye watering costs for...……… essentially poor quality cardboard.

We dined reasonably cheaply at the NEC Wetherspoons, before tyre-kicking on the Morelo stand. :D

There is a lot of it about, my sister and her husband have over 600 grand in the bank, no mortgage, put 5 grand a month into his pension(self employed), they moved house recently and she wanted to take the plastic plugs from the drill holes in the wall, they take sarnies and a flask to the coast, never ever pay for parking, they will walk 2 mile into town first.

Not everyone at the show is a potential purchaser. The Bacofoil sarnie eaters were probably just 'window shopping' :D

We took sarnies and drinks Tuesday but no bacofoil :)

We were buying just not at 200k
To be honest I wouldn’t want to spend a fortune on a Moho as I’d be freightend to park it anywhere. Sort of defeats the object of having one

I’d just rather wait till they drop down to about 20 grand before considering a purchase, we not all made of money, in fact 10 grand is enough

well, not wanting to show off, but I actually spent nearly 250k at the NEC today... and yes I am serious anyone guess what I got?
