Feeling rather guilty as we left home in Wales 5th September, it’s now 24th October and I’ve yet to share our Croatian trip with you all.

Over the next few days I’ll upload pics, routes and stopovers etc.

As previously we travel in our Hymer S840, Martin (Mr Mousy) is driver, outside (blue jobs) and washer up doer. I’m Dawn and Millie is our laid back but miserable looking cavapoo. This trip will also feature some family star guests and extras.

Please forgive my tardiness but we’ve been so busy having a great time!
We’ve still failed to master selfies or instagramable photographs but Millie has greatly improved her bondage skills…

We were just discussing possibilities of Croatia on our drive today, will be reading your account with interest. We didn’t make it to our intended destination this trip, thanks anyway cliffanger, due to predicted stormy weather that way. So we found ourselves on a very wiggly road from La Roque Gageac to Rocamadour, chatting about Croatia. !

We arrived on Krk at the start of October but were greeted by heavy rain and blowing a hooley, with a similar forecast for the next 10 days.
I'm afraid we bottled it and did an about turn to south of France where the weather was glorious.
I think we should have stuck with it as forecasts always seem to be overly gloomy, but I did really enjoy Provence.
Looking forward to hearing of your travels

Glad you enjoyed France, this was further south than Krk early October..

We’ve used park4night for all stops.

This is a collection of screenshots from our mapping ap. I’m uploading these as we drive so forgive me if they aren’t in order or actually show a bike ride not a Moho journey but my sunglass/readers aren’t the best!

Our first night away was spent in Belgium parked next to this closed windmill. It was lovely and quiet, just us and another small van.

The next day we drove and stayed here.

Hardly anyone about, nice to have a walk around but nothing really open.

3rd night was spent at another free aire in a little village. Next to a kindergarten. We woke up to the lovely sound of toddlers playing outside.

Whilst preparing to use the drive over drain to dump our grey, we noticed a flat rear tyre.

I kindly took Millie for a walk whilst Martin put on his latex gloves and sorted it out. The extension valve had worn off and we’d lost a tyre pal sensor along the way … hint to self if tyre pal beeps don’t just turn it off without checking the tyre!

30mins later and we were on our way again.

Stopover names should be on the previous map pages. I’m afraid you lot are going to have to work abit on this thread. Writing it 2 months later means we’ve both forgotten where we’ve been ! Sozza.
