Given that Funsters make up a fair chunk of online motorhome owners I quite fancy having some proper awards next year. Given that we don't suck up to anyone like the magazines do, I will try but I seriously doubt we'd get any sponsorship so the awards themselves would be modest but honest. Clearly we'd want the obvious ones...

Best Dealer
Best Insurer
Best manufacturer
Best New Motorhome
Best Used
Best Coachbuilt
Best PVC . etc


But I'd also like some other awards such as
Friendliest Wardens
Ugliest Motorhome
Worst payload ever . etc

Once we settle on the categories, I can set up a voting system.

So what categories should we vote on, once we have those we can get some nominees. What should we call the awards. Any ideas? Cheers

How about:

Most/least practical kitchen
Least usable shower
Most alarming upholstery
Worst decals
 
Best on site fishing.
Best headroom above single beds Motorhome.
Most watertight Motorhome.
Least use of non drying mastic Motorhome.
Best standard specification without recourse to the extras list Motorhome.
Most creative use of the colour beige.
Least faults on handover Motorhome.
Motorhome with the most faults.
 
Manufacturer's prize for the best and most understanding customer affectionately named.

"The Customer is always Right and I've got a right one 'ere Award"
 
"Prick of the Week Award" which we handed out weekly at our Dealership.

Our Service manager won it on more than one occasion. I do recall one week though where he dicided to carpet his office in an attempt to keep his feet warmer. He sucessfully carpeted the office but sadly his door would no longer travel freely above the pile of his new carpet.

That afternoon he returned from home with his DIY tools, cut around 3/8" off the door and then planed it and sanded it to a fine finish.

When he attempted to re-hang the door it became apparent that he'd removed material from the top of the door.

He was often our "POW", fond memories.

Hmmm Is that a bit like the yearly " Wheres the bear thread" best photo prize you promised :xrofl::xrofl: .

Me and @andy63 did get our prize one year :xshout: I have to add we did appreciate the bear prizes as they reached over £100 for the fundraising.:xThumb:

hmmmm... what's this we bit. ?????? as I recall the prize of a bear was mine which you subsequently stole and auctioned :xangry:
