I can think of two possible visits: Craven Collection of ancient bikes, just outside York or Elvington Air Museum for old planes. Weather permitting.

Or even go an knock on Jim's door.

Seaways is a well attended bikers cafe (which I don't have a problem with) just up the road from Wetwang and there's a cafe in the woods a couple of miles away, a nice tea room at Sledmere House plus a monks retreat with tea room near Pocklington.

The cafe is open all week , it's just the bike shed part which opens on Saturday and sunday from March.

Brian I don't know the first thing about these places. I used to pass the first one every day in a former life, and Ive driven past Fridaythorpe many times when going to Brid and the East Coast.
