Not long enough!
Heard that BP are running down their lpg.
About 5 garages near to my home in Essex no longer available.
The 2 shell garages supplying are about 15 miles apart.
anyone else noticing a problem??

thread about it recently..bit of a blow to be honest. can't imagine motorists who have converted being best pleased!

This cropped up elsewhere a few weeks ago. It only applies to the approx 300 forecourts directly operated by BP. The 900 BP branded forecourts operated independently still have the option to include LPG pumps at their sites.

Other chains like Shell and Jet are unaffected.

I never used BP anyway as far too pricey. Shell is dear too but tolerable in emergency. ASDA at 54.7 is still my fill point

I wish our Asda stations sold gas :( I paid 56.9p at our local independent (Jet) on the way back home this morning. Shell on the A1 at Barnsdale Bar (which we drove past) was 57.9p.

She'll station near us stopped supplying LPG last year. Probably couldn't compete with Asda and Morrisons who also have LPG pumps in the town.

Fitted Gas It yesterday and paid 59.9 at Shell but it was 6pm on a Saturday. Normal price notloB Bottled gas 52.5p per litre.

Shell at Cribbs Causeway Bristol is 55.9.

Probably helped by the fact that there is an independent across the road and an ASDA and Morrisons within 1 mile

I don't actually care what price it is it's the convenience factor I like
nothing more
bill
That's the real point Bill. We tend to fill up when we return from a trip because it is convenient to use our local garage and the price is reasonable. When we are on the road, though, we would usually just stop at a garage en route rather than seek out somewhere cheaper.

What would be really useful is a website or app that showed places that sold Bulk LPG.

I was in West Wales recently and needed LPG for my dual fuel car.

The 3 nearest garages indicated by the my lpg app only had cylinders

Perhaps we need to make a list ourselves from local knowledge, we ought to be able to cover the country

Try FillLPG. There is an Android app as well as the web site. There is also a downloadable set of sat nav POIs (they don't include an icon file but I created one and have e-mailed it to them in case they wish to use it).

Thanks Graham, that's very useful, and it look as though they keep the prices pretty up to date.
