Same plate as on the last van, quite nice for us as it ties in with both of us. The M100, Mi is short for Mijhan and of course the LHB is obvious.

@moulin 87 Cheapest drill in stock was a biggish one with Ni-MH battery at €15, found a small Li-ion one in Carrefour for €20 bit anoying as I have a nice Makita at home but cheaper than a new table & all the modern tables are heavy this one is only 2.5kg.

Table repair kit ready to go.

Less than 1/2 hour later table sorted did all 4 legs while at it, good for another 40 years, wish I was.

A bit OT, I missed the Moto GP highlights on Monday so watched it last night on My5. Didn't need a VPN it just worked, then I tried iPlayer the same no VPN required.
Has this always been the case as when connecting via a UK phone it sees your IP address as a UK one. Only ever connected before via wifi .

We found the same, that when using our 3 data sim since the rules changed in June the signal strength was good enough to stream TV and no VPN required.

Discovered a few klicks down the road the Chateau of Sedan claimed to be the largest fortified castle in Europe, it don't look that big to me but impressive.
Well the French tried to confuse us to day (not hard). Went to what we thought was the main entrance saw a sign about a guide on wifi, realised I'd left my phone in the van, returned 5 min later closed for lunch 12:00 - 13:30. Anyway we wander around the outside and up a lane at the back that brought us out in a castle courtyard and what do we find another entrance that was open, no mention of it at the other entrance. Saw a few people going to the first entrance never saw them again, obviously gave up.

A few km further south found a large but very nice Aire on an island in the Meuse at Stenay. Breaking the bank of Lenny again, €8.40 inc tourist tax but includes servicing & EHU.
Market day tomorrow & there is a beer museum in the town perhaps Euro fizz would be more accurate, gave us a voucher for entry for one person.

Last nights fine dining,
Not eaten out on this trip wallet sill recovering from last trip. Getting so expensive in France these days unless you eat lunchtime that doesn't suit us most days as we are either out doing things or we get up late and only just had brecky. Might get time today for a lunchtime one.

Pork chop with home made apple sauce & quinoa.

Looks like some interesting stops, lots of history along this disputed area between the French and Germans during the late nineteenth & early twentieth century. Worth spending some time around Verdun if your interested in WW1 conflict as you can wonder over most areas which still have a lot of fortifications.

As requested I think your meal would be around 25€ per head.

What's happened to the weather, when we set off every one was saying how nice and warm it was in France 35+.
Since we have been away managed to hit 30 for one hour on Wednesday, Thursday 21, yesterday only 18 at least it was hot in direct sunshine.
Not on, only one hour of holiday weather in nearly 2 weeks.:cry::cry:

Also what's with French Motorhomes and le weekend. They arrive in droves Friday afternoon and evening then disappear on Saturday. Aires always full on Fridays but no problem finding a space on Saturday. Noticed this when we were over in May not been aware of it before probably because we have not been looking for Aires on a Friday.

The weather has been pretty dire here too.
Maybe you need to follow the sun ?
