Where my dad was born! - so many lovely memories and now a m h place! So beautiful there- must be the reason we got a motorhome.! Tho there is plenty wild camping nearby

Great place and friendly people. First stayed there 15 years ago when they were thinking of opening it up to campers.

I wish we could be like the rest of Europe, and allow parking of campers like this.
I spend at least three holidays in mainland Europe each year. So many Aires located in
various towns. I always make sure I buy essentials in those towns and help support the local economies.

Visited here last week and yes it's as good as it sounds. By the river with great views and really clean toilets.
If you do use it please remember to donate, the toilets alone are worth a donation.
We stayed at the Loch Leven Seafood Cafe, another great place

You won't need a postcode. Put Kinlochleven into satnav and when you arrive it is opposite the Ice Factor entrance. You can't miss it its a tall ex mill.

Toilets with hot water. Pub and restaurant in ice factor. 20m Another pub with balcony overlooking river 75m Coop store 80m. Only downside is, as it is by the river, the outlet for the power station roars and it makes you need the loo all night. LOL

Edit.... Ice Factor is a climbing centre with varios climbing walls and the tallest indoor ice climbing wall in Europe. It also has an outdoor clothing and accessory shop....sale now on.

Stopped ther Friday. Night. Lovely little town nestling between the hills. Useful co-op just down the road and a couple of pubs to boot.
