Some of you may already know that Katie has been ill for some time. Jim has kept fairly quiet about this on here recently but she is still fighting this illness and has been undergoing hospital treatment for a long time and has now been readmitted to a hospital in Wales for further treatment. She is suffering with Myesthenia Gravis

I thought that it might be nice to send Katie a gift for Christmas. I know there was a collection at a recent meet but I thought it would be good to let her know that Funsters are still thinking about her. I spoke to some members of the Morning Funsters thread who were all willing to donate. However the consensus was that the fundraising should be open to the whole Forum membership so anyone who wanted to donate would have this opportunity. It was also decided to give cash so Katie can have the pleasure of spending it on something she wants.
Ray @swanseajack13 has spoken to Jim and Sian and we have been given the go-ahead. Ray has opened a Just Giving account in Katie's name.
