Since we were not out and about on that date, or time, plus there are a couple of spelling mistakes, it is a scam. It might fool others but does anyone know who I can report this to please?

Definite scam the telephone number is the same as the HMRC scam that is doing the rounds at the moment

Wife's cousin had it today as well. Obvious scam add it to all the others going around

Since it is not new and so many people report it, why have the powers that be not found someone to prosecute, please?

Someone once phoned my old mum and dad in the middle of the night claiming to be the police... they told them that I had been killed in a car crash, and could they come to the police station in Bootle to identify my body. I won't go into the distress it caused, but BT refused to trace the number it had come from.
