Ilfracombe Summer Rally

arrive Thursday 15-19th August depart on tues morning of the 20th August so £25 for the rally. There are three pitches left on the CL for the following week if anyone wishes to stay longer and then maybe join the WC meet the week after as some people are doing.

Edit function playing up now. Arrive anytime on Thursday to suit. The seminar will be on Sat and Sunday, Cake and coffee if anyone brings some will be Sunday morning. Rubbish will be incinerated on site so please separate it, no bottles, tins or aerosols, there are separate containers for these. Please keep dogs on a lead and have a good time.

The ground is solid, no problems for RV's of any size or weight.
The first funsters arrive early, who it is I can't remember,

room for a few more. to answer a query yes there is water, on site so you can fill up, it is not tainted,and tastes sweet. There is black and grey dump and a WC plus a sink for washing in. Marquee is nearly up cider bottled and I still have 1001 jobs to sort out so may not post again before it all kicks off late comers please just turn up no need to add your names to the list as there is plenty of room now.

Sorry to hear that Bill, there will be a few funsters here the week after the meet as well. I hope the kseal sorts it for you.

No problem you will be most welcome there are some others staying behind as well so funsters will be there.

It's going to take me nearly seven hours to get down to you Roger, so am leaving tomorrow morning, but there is a good chance that it will be nearly dark before I get there. Is it ok to just park up any old place on the field until the rest of the family arrives late on Thursday night or early Friday morning?

Sorry that so many have had to drop out, such a shame for you. I've got stuff from Roger and Sheila for you, a bottle from Joy and I think Peter has picked up the stuff from Chris.

Hi after all my work to try getting down the van is still over heating jay is so upset as I have been telling him that we are going to meet the Wildman we watched a film on grizzly Adams and I have been winding him up the Wildman is just like him braking his hart bless him but promised no mater what we will get down to see Wildman when we get the new to us van it tears my heart out to let him down

the amazing smells for cooking are all over the site as funsters break out the Barbie, Duck a l'a'Orange in this case (there are some terrific cooks in fun)

all washed down with a drop of superb French wine.

it wouldn't do for me eating massive frying pan food like that its heart attack food even if its cooked in veg oils or sunflower oils its so very bad for you your arteries will clog up and we all know what that means.the one good thing I didn't see was no ashtrays.but who am I to say if you like it enjoy.steve:thumb:

Well after a late start from Malvern ,traffic west bound was fine (cant say the same about east bound approx.10 mile tailback due to flat packed caravan and a much dented landrover juct 26 ) anyway home to Plymouth them up to the Lazy Buzzard CL .
Logs delivered ok JJ
now a leisurely brekky (no shortage of bacon in my fridge )

and then see what the day brings ttfn all :thumb:
