Oh dear! :Sad: I can't bake cakes - am absolutely hopeless! Mind you over the years have learnt to make a mean knock down trifle using the hopeless cakes! :thumb:

you can have tea or coffee as you will have to bring it I don't have catering facilities yet.

Well not that we were planning it but we are changing the van and will soon be the owners of an Autotrail Arapaho

which we looking forward to as it will have all the room we want for our two crazy dogs Jemma and Charlie and us. The sad part is that we won't be able to make Ilfracombe because we need to go to Malvern to get some goodies for the new van. Hopefully will make it next year, hope you all have great weather, Carole and Paul

50% cancellations have already spoilt it for me Joy. We will have a grand time even if only 2 funsters turn up. at least I know where I stand. No other rally or forum that I have been involved in has had more than 4 cancellations. My own fault for choosing the wrong date and no one bothering to tell me it would clash with Malvern but I still feel extremely let down. I hope everyone has a grand time at Malvern.

Well, as much as we like the Malvern show, we are looking forward to your meet Roger and fully intend to enjoy ourselves ... and looking on the bright side more cancellations means more cider for the rest :beer:

Not sure what you mean by that Roger. Don't take it personally, people are choosing the 'rally' not you

oh: And yes, Carmarthen last year we had a load of cancellations, it happens especially where people don't have to make a deposit, so it's easy to cancel. If the losses are hurting you maybe you should consider taking deposits.

I will mention your rally in tomorrows newsletter, hopefully it will get you a few extra to make up for your losses. :thumb:

Yes Rog you posted your date first and I feel were unlucky with the clash of dates
but.

I'm sure those who go to your rally will have a great time :Smile:

as will those who go to Malvern.
at the end of the day it is one club but we can't all be everywhere:Cool:

And if yours had been either slightly before or after (as a follow on)
I think the story would be completely different.

Dont get disheartened though I'm sure now you are open numbers
will increase regularly.

Next year could be a great year; look forward to it, as we all will hopefully.

Hi Roger I would have been quite content to visit your bash magic words like home grown scrumpy and only up the road but as I said I had a few weeks solo touring France: hhmbe didn't. Claws out and noticed it clashed with that other place Me i'm a pacifist where she's concerned that was only reason but if you had 1 between Malvern & Shepton Mallet ??: count me in.
Sincere appolgies if it were thought it was slur on yourself it was nothing like that.
