Will let you know if there are an distinguishing features when I get more details.

Move the OBD2 port so they cannot find it or put a lock on it or cut a couple of wires and put connectors so you can connect them up if needed.Takes about 10 seconds to find the combination of door lock using key from eBay so change the door lock. They can then use the derv cap lock to work out the key code so change that.

Take FORD to Court for selling such a crap vehicle that is so easy to nick.

I fitted a diesel shut off tap in the main fuel line when you park up just close it.The camper will start but just get down the road a bit and run out of fuel and they will leave its better than a imobiliser but all you have to do bleed it to start it when found but you must remember to turn it back on when you want to go off.You can buy the taps at diesel specialist all you have to do if your up to the job just cut main fuel line it’s just a push fit cheap job and you will be reunited with your motorhome the same day JOB FOR TODAY ANDY MECHANIC FOR 53 YEARS

For me that is a better solution than a tracker. I'd rather get it back 50 yards down the road than three weeks later in a state.

It’s a two trip operation. They first turn up and pick the lock with a little tool they find on eBay. Takes them about 10 seconds. Once they know the code they get a key made. They return at their leisure open the MH with the key and put it in the ignition. Ford electronics don’t recognise it so they plug a small black box in the ODB2 port which tells the ECU that a new key has been inserted and needs to be registered. When it’s done they start the engine and drive off. Takes about 30 seconds. The new key turns the alarm off if one is fitted.

If the Dealers had to tell their clients how easy they were to steal they would never sell them.

When I was getting an online quote for my van, the first question to be answered was 'is it a Ford Transit?'.

I wonder how much the premiums are loaded by?

Transit locks are useless but there is a lot you can do yourself to make it more secure. I have disconnected the central locking and the near side lock so it can only be opened from the inside. I have replaced the off side lock with a hykee, have also fitted a pedal box. I have moved the odb port out of the way and fitted a dummy in it's place, I have connected an inverter to pin 4 and 16 so when they plug in, it fries their computer. Not 100% but a lot more secure than it was.

I know that Comfort don’t particularly load premium, but insist on an approved ( by Aviva) security device, tracker/alarm,irrespective of age or value

Enquires at Holyhead may be helpful. CCTV footage of that day?

Huge task though and perhaps nothing

Mine can’t be nicked!!
Well it could be towed I suppose, but I’ll know where it is, and I’ll know 2 seconds after they try.
Cheers Eddie.
