On the way back home yesterday, we had to take a big de-tour due to a road by (Drax Estate) being closed....

As we were poodling along I noticed this =

DSC01475 (600 x 450).jpg

Any idea`s as to what it means..???? (The House or garage/arrow/car and A..)

The mileage showing in the box is 16841.9...... but the true mileage carried on counting as we went along, and checking when I took the photo it was 16881... So we did 40 miles with it on... Engine sounded fine and it pulled well...

We stopped as soon as we could and checked the oil and water, but that all seemed fine...

Anyone seen or had the same..???

Thanks..

Push the button on right hand stalk it will change to trip b then back to date and mileage

Just looks like a normal trip distance, have you pressed the end of one of the stalks on the steering wheel and changed the view?
The trip etc is done by buttons on the dash.... No stalk...
….and close the door when pootling along🤣
The door open symbol is when I took the photo just now..

What Riverbankannie said I think !! , as it's in red
As above... parked at home with door open and ignition on..
Looks like trip A has never been reset from new.
Chances are trip B will show the same mileage.
Never touched any trips or buttons.....
Before that came on, in that window it always had a picture of a petrol pump and said how many miles before it needs the tank refuelling..
.................................................................................................................

Thanks, I will look at the hand book..... (y)

Ahhh, right, looks like you may have altered the mode settings on the dash. Sorry to have to do this to you, but it’s the only one I can find that explains the mode functions.

These things are very smart these days and, sometimes, can have special meanings when shown in combination.
There's nothing wrong with the vehicle,
I think it's trying to tell you that your fly is undone...

Men don't look at handbooks. We get stressed and shout loudly

Nothing in the hand book with any pictures like the photo I put on... :frowny:

So going out to have a play with the menu & up and down thingmejigs buttons, see what I can mess up..

It's just telling you that you have done some 16841 miles on Trip A ( basically since you left home and ended the trip) new trip probably started now

OK Auld Yin.
Press the "Mode" button on the dashboard and then the up and down arrows.
It takes you through a menu of options as per attached extract from the handbook (Ducato X250).
You'll have it sitting in the Trip Data B at top right.
Funnily enough I was resetting the time on ours earlier today.
:hugs:

Ah old-mo... I can now see where you went wrong...
You tried to read the handbook yourself instead of giving it to the pretty one wi the brains so she could decipher it for you...
You really should know better🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thank very much for all your suggestions.... (y)

Sorted...................

A lot were correct, some how and I just don`t know how...... but....

As was said.... I had pressed the button on one of the stalks... I just don`t know how, because the button is a fair way inside the stalk....

Still not sure how to zero either trip A or B.... but it`s back to normal... (y)

Me and anything elemtronic or buttons do not work together.... :banghead:

If you have the same menu options in the extract I attached above it's in there that you reset the mileage.

Don't forget to put your right foot on the brake pedal, left foot on the throttle and rub you belly in an anti-clockwise direction with, hang on a minute, yes, with any hand, while you press the button. Sorted!

I think you may find that you are getting confused between sorting old-mo dashboard display and Friday night's Masonic ritual?
