After cancelling Millport due to the location, price and logistics I'm now looking at Hawick for New Year

Any interest ? To have the area solely exclusively for us and to ensure we can all park together will cost approx £10 max over the 4 nights, plus whatever the local hall hire costs for hogmanay. Elsan point and fresh water provided.

Any interest before I pursue this further? Please only reply if your serious about coming.

Hi Sandra. May well be able to make this Rally, as in Edinburgh with family for Christmas. Will not be able to confirm until much later in the Year ……. Depends on other family commitments and having my cataracts done in November!

I should hope so since you will be doing some of the cooking for our New Years Day dinner. We should know in the next few weeks if we are able to hire the church hall just over the river from the aire.

Hi, the meeting has been put back to the 25th Aug. Will update the thread as soon as I know but we think we have enough councillors onside for it to be approved.

The meeting has just finished, we have approval for the "nominal" fee hire for exclusive use of the motorhome aire for the above dates and also The Reivers Festival dates of 24-28March 23.

As soon as the council contact me to inform me of how much our nominal fee is I will start 2 new rally threads.

Sorry guys, not open for bookings yet. I need to wait for official confirmation first despite knowing we’ve been given the go ahead.

marrod23 The fee for the aire for our exclusive use is £10 in total whether you stay 1 night or all 4. Still to be added is the cost of hall and NYD dinner.

Having exclusive use ensures that the aire spaces won’t be taken up by others.

Ok it’s £30 inclusive for parking together, the hall on Hogmanay 8pm-1am our own wee get together for the bells, New Year’s Day dinner either chicken curry or meat pie any surplus funds will be divided and refunded per van.
