What's happening, is it better than last year, is it dry ( rain not beer), what's to see ? And who's made an effort with their stands?, and what do we have to see, besides the tent with the yellow flag ??

By the way visit Fodder the shop next to the entrance to the showground - all local food, very tasty!!

We collected our ' smiley face sticker' Jim ' had gone for a coffee' ...however, we have put the sticker in van...... But we have a problem....we are also looking at another van.....the 'show stopper on the show' then we'll need another sticker ...time for a reality check...I think, but who knows what goes on in the mind of SWMBO

Thanks to Puddleduck we made the show today. I would say it's roughly on a par with Newark last week and that to my mind wasn't brilliant. Not many vans and not many ancillary stands. I think that there are too many shows now thereby diluting the product. I wouldn't think that the traders can continue to attend all these shows with the low throughput of potential customers. We've had Newark last week, Harrogate this and Peterborough in three weeks. It's quantity over quality.

I went last year too. Walked it all in about 2 Hours, Bought a Plastic container. is all

I reckon I spent more time in Wetherspoons!!!!.

We went last year as we were in the market to by a van. We'd seen the one we eventually bought but wanted to check out a few others. I suppose a lot depends on what you are looking for and what you expect.

Glad our tickets weren't wasted, I know we got them free but it would have been a shame not to have them used.

Never been to one ever.
We prefer the smaller rallies. Nice to get together with fellow motorhomers .
If we need anything for the Motorhome we research then buy from the cheapest source .

You can certainly get stung at a show. Probably best to make a list with prices and not to give in to temptations.
