Morning folks, how do people store their drinking glasses in the motorhome ?
At the moment I have a cardboard supermarket wine bottle carrier, adapted with gaffer tape !
It works well at stopping the clinking but it's getting a bit tatty and I wondered what other options are available.

Lovely stemless quality acrylic ones for us.Very compact and bomb proof.Ours came from John Lewis , same make as we saw at NEC.

Definitely acrylic ones they bounce.

My gin glasses are wrapped in bubble wrap and then the pair of them are stored in a lidded plastic container. I wouldn’t use acrylic for this - I like my gin!!!!

Our pint pots are in a Muggi with plastic bottle protective sleeves on for "de-clinking" and the smaller tumblers are tuned upside down in "foam circles" all from amazon and for much cheapness.
Our good whskey and gin glasses are kept in their boxes.

Domestic staff wraps them in bubble wrap, she tells me,then in a plastic box in the locker.

Socks ... new ones obviously! Depending on the size of the glasses you can use kids or adult ones, various types to choose from eg trainer socks, ankle socks, or if you have large glasses, wellie socks!

Haven’t yet but I have a cardboard pint glass box with dividers that I am going to use, probably stored under bench seat.

Just wrap in bubble wrap and pack inbetween the saucepans

We have a collection of different size baskets made of some kind of grass.
They are soft sided so no rattles and they don’t slide about.
Glasses are just separated with kitchen towel to stop rattling.

Nothing so ostentatious in our motorhome I'm pleased to say.
May I ask why you would need ten wine glasses , is it a party bus ?

The slot together dividers for us. I like easy access and couldn’t be doing with wrapping them up. Cut to length with scissors to fit your space. Ikea are cheaper but maybe not so convenient.

Never been taken out since we stopped racing, the awning would be full night times with folk, the trailer had more glasses in:p

Ah, they're for alcohol to counter all the adrenalin, good idea.
Is that you surrounded by the bevy of beauties ?

Not jealous in the least

we have a glass cabinet  being Rapido A class:cool:

Well, you could by-pass glasses and drink it from the bottle!
Wine buffs may tell you that you shouldn't store wine glasses up side down because the air trapped inside can go stale and taint your wine. If you don't mind that, the non-slip rubbery mats are quite good at stopping things from moving in cupboards and clinking together. Wine glasses are unstable the 'right' way up and are likely to fall over. We put ours inside tall plastic beakers and that overcomes all the problems.

we have stemless wine glasses which came free, in boxes, with wine, have had them a few years now. Friends liked the idea and bought some similar glasses and them some gift boxes which are the right size. Really prefer wine and gin out of glass and hot drinks out of china, not bothered about plates though.

Pfft..... What do wine buffs know ?

I keep my upside down glasses in such regular use, that the trapped air doesn’t get much of a chance to go stale. I also tend not to keep living things underneath them, so the trapped doesn’t go stale so quickly.
If those two methods fail, when I tip them up the right way, some or all of any stale air would hopefully be replaced by circulating fresh air and any remnants of residual stale air would be forced out of the glass by the pouring action.
Finally, as I take a sip of wine, I hold my breath long enough to get the glass well away from my face, to avoid exhaled air going in to the glass and spoiling the next sip.
If any wine buffs want me to test the theory, I can provide an address for the sending of cases ;)
