well we have all heard on the news that Gas prices are falling......

I have an account for filling up the old "GASIT" system with Countrywide Farmers with only 5% VAT as its for "domestic use" ( cooking and heating! ) and boy was i surprised and pleased to get this email yesterday.

Dear Mr ,

I am delighted to announce that your Autogas price will be reduced to 52.4ppl plus VAT, effective from 1st January 2015.
A reduction in the cost of wholesale LPG and improved stability in the market means that we can pass on this benefit to our customers.

so thats 55.02 pence per Litre. :clap2: . ... dont see Calor doing anything close any time soon :frowny:

Been 54.7 inc 20% VAT at ASDA for many weeks, long overdue a reduction

Thats very good. I'm paying 59p at the moment at my local garage, reduced from 74p two months ago, and I thought that was OK. (LPG powered car).

those are good prices inclusive of 20%VAT..

there are only a couple of places local that you can get LPG "at all" certainly no supermarkets.

Better fill before you visit tourist ripoff scarborough.....if you have nowhere better to go, but that will be difficult.

Still 67.9p...has been for the last 3 years.

No real competition is the problem.

Crikey  That has reminded me that when I flew hot air balloons we use to buy our gas at 11 pence per litre (mid 90's). Made you, we could get through 600 to 700 litres in one weekend

we pay £55 for 47kg bottles delivered, countrywide wanted £62 x vat delivered ,last time i checked.

i use 47kg bottles for an outdoor plunge pool heater.." when the weather is good"! and its same price £55. but thats over 90 kgs all up weight, unless you use it to top up your other bottles

we use it for central heating,no mains gas where we live.but i think it works out at 57p a lt.

Yes I know but this is why http://golpg.co.uk/station/company/5 say Paisley cos absolutely no one knows where Linwood is but you
My local Asda is Owlcotes, no one would have a clue, if I said Pudsey they might have heard of Pudsey bear but most will know Leeds :p

Not gonna bother to argue with you, if you wish to drive to Paisley for Gas please feel free to do so. Just expect a disappointment when you get there and find no Asda :p:p:p:p:p

It is amazing that we pay 20, 30, 40, 50+ thousand pounds for a van and then search out gas at 1p cheaper than the next garage and will drive miles to get it; why do I do this?
