Hello all, seen to be having a little trouble with gas fire (carver 3000) the pilot light ignites no problem but the main burner doesn't and will not come on.
I have tried to do a little research it seems that Truma have bought out Carver and have discontinued Carver parts.
Checked on ebay etc etc and it turns out that there are 3 different types of burner valves for the same
gas fire.

Just wondering if any one else has had a smiler problem

Since 2005
could just be the thermo-couple, which sits in the pilot flame and when hot opens the main gas valve allowing the main burner to light.

I believe the part number is 602699

also, check the nut on the 'cold' end of the thermo-couple where it enters the gas valve....is it tight.

if not, tighten finger tight plus 1/4 turn.

Hi, Replaced the thermo coupling September last year as the fire kept going out.

Here's another site you might like to have a look at, http://www.arcsystems.biz/. They are very helpful and have some good links on problem solutions on there home page.
