Is "shutter lag" an issue - I've read there's a relatively long time [presumably while it does all the clever electronic stuff] between pressing the button and the picture being taken.

It actually was faster than my last phone which didn't have all the AI stuff. I believe they updated the software on the 1st if April update that I downloaded 2 days ago. I have had normal digital cameras with more lag.

The best camera is the one you have on you .. saw a kerfuffle through the conservatory window, quick glimpse: a sparrow hawk.

Shots from 20ft - so as not to frighten the hawk away .. a blackbird attacked and eaten.
