I have emaild the seller that seems rather put out by the questions I have asked and even telling me he'd prefer I didn't buy one.

I know that should be warning enough really, BUT does anyone have any experience of this system?

It could be a good product but an irritated seller and of course it's the system I'm interested in not him.

Sorry I can't help with the item but if that's the seller attitude I would prefer not to buy from him!

If that's the way he is now there is little chance of any after sales backup.
 
If answering a few questions is too much trouble for him, god forbid if he had to process a faulty unit by return.
I should just take your money elsewhere, someone will be grateful (y)
 
For the past 2 years that i know of this crops up at the end of the camping season, so maybe a dealer clearing stock..
It look's to be the same as a "satty 65", do a youtube search..
From what i could find out they look to be set to self search ONLY for Eutelsat at 13 east.. So maybe not much good if you want Astra 2.

There we are Biggles,more answers on here than from the seller,best stay away I think,even tough as you say could be a good product,aint gonna sell many with that attitude!!
 
He's Italian and may not have good English to answer your questions
 
Just tried the web site and got "Non puoi accedere al nostro negozio dal tuo paese. Ci scusiamo per l'inconveniente. " which translates to "You can not access our shop from your home country. Sorry for the inconvenience."
Are we not all in the EU?:doh:
 
Would this be a better buy ? it looks a good price and it comes with fixing bracket.

Thanks guys.

I saw the Selfsat Snipe but it was the 80cm dish option that attracted me. I have no idea how well these work below central France with a Sky box.

I did wonder if it was a translation thing, and also being in business once myself I was often sharp with a potential customer if they irritated me, to the point of loosing a sale.

I would also consider a pre-owned system if there's one out there.
