Does that actually mean anything?

Yes, the absolute fantasy world of non-competitive ,non-answerable mediocrity....with afat pension at the end

Looks like it was all based on internal assessments , and a lot of self navel gazing , as it would not be possible to reach that result taking customer satisfaction into account !

I wonder if this is yet another "accreditation" actually achieved by a self assessment!
The delusional attitude would certainly be normal for what was bad as a government department and has got even worse as a government agency.

I must be in a minority or very lucky because i have always had excellent service from DVLA,when they had local offices it was much better because you could speak face to face but when you consider how many millions of applications are made to them a year and the amount of forms etc that must be filled in incorrectly i dont think they do bad..And lets face it being Welsh most enquiries are in a foreign language,,BUSBY

So have we. We've both had medical issues in the last few years which had to be notified to them. They were helpful and efficient every time we had to deal with them.

As they are based in Wales:notworthy2: and I am a Welshman I think they're bloody wonderful and everyone of you cynical lot are wrong so there! :boxing:

Sneaks out of the door quickly :getmecoat:
That explains it - they employ sheep. :ROFLMAO:

Think most delays are caused by people not filling in forms correctly.BUSBY.

Never had a single issue with the DVLA in the years I’ve dealt with them and always found them efficient and helpful.
In recent years had to renew my driving license photo, up rate the weight on the motorhome, change my old Triumph Bonneville to Historic Vehicle and sort out an engine/frame number mistake on a 2001 VFR Honda, all straight forward and easy.

It’s a bit like that ad on the telly for a mattress that has supposedly won the most awards. Who on earth awards awards to mattresses? The National Institute of Bed Wetters? The Federation of Foam Furniture? Or maybe they have a magazine, The Mattress Lovers Monthly that awards its advertisers like Practical Motorhome gives out fake awards each year to theirs.

This is a bit like the Oscars and Grammy awards, a bunch of nonentities awarding themselves a pat on the back

all accreditation schemes are a farce most just require you to pay guild of master craftsman the travellers favourite

Interesting looking into the numbers. 245,000,000 queries a year with 1100 employees

That makes it roughly 930 queries per day per person

116 per hour and approx 2 per minute.

No wonder they get so much wrong.

BUSBY,??

A lot better than some vehicle dealers (allegedly).

Must admit, when I self imported my van It went really easily & quickly. I was surprised after the negative comments they get.
They followed up with emails & also gave allocated Reg No over the phone.
So credit where it's due.

Never had a problem with the Dvla, the only time there was a month delay In renewing my hgv was down to the hospital secretary sitting on the results of my exercise test ,after the ceo of the hospital kicking a few bums ,the Dvla returned my licence within days of receiving the results,

Have to say that I'm with those who say they have had no problems with DVLA. Taxing, SORNing, licence renewal and amendment - always been highly satisfied with their service.

I personally cannot praise them enough for their performance in 2019............

No seriously, they turned our V5 around in a week when we realised that the dealer had never done it (3 weeks before shipping out to Spain) then 2 weeks before the Spanish trip they turned our V5 around again in a week, when we upgraded our revenue weight using SV Tech. Then when we got home, they issued me with my driver CPC less than a week after completing the final module.

So, I've either been arsehole lucky or you're all just pre judging them!

I imported an old Harley from Pakistan having worked their for a year. Had a Pakistani log book in my name, got a V5 in ten days. No problem with DVLA.
