I would not bet on it, there’s evidence that some manufactured vans are just as bad

The gas locker comments made me think it was a bodged self build .

The article states

“
including the LPG compartment being unsealed; the LPG compartment having inadequate ventilation and exposed electrical connections. Unsatisfactory ventilation from gas appliances was found in the habitable area; the gas hob/grill had not been fitted with a flame supervision device on each burner; and the gas fridge was found to have an unsatisfactory flue which was not approved by the manufacturer”

Do shoddy dealers even know that they are shoddy?

Yippee...... at last, we all hear about defects and issues with M/ Homes and the majority of dealers just ignore and continue..... its not until there is a member of the public with the 'knowhow' or confidence, or knowledge..... or whatever it is that a lot of the general public don't understand, that a case such as this can be highlighted and satisfactorily sorted.

There are no doubt honest and trustworthy dealers out there, but, I do believe that a lot ( not only M/home dealers) hide behind 'small print' and the ignorance of the general public.
