After the disaster of my maritime exploits last year it has taken me a while to find the time to get back on the water
I just knew it was going to be a good day when I arrived to find a little egret on the foreshore
Having arrived at the site of my near drowning last year (note how steep that muddy bank is).
I waited a while as the tide was rushing past at a rate of knots then took the plunge
Sue stood on the shore camera in hand ready to catch the moment I drowned
I am pleased to report we both missed it
and once the tide race eased up I managed to disappear from sight
An hour later with sore shoulders I returned as dry as I set out even my feet had dried.
Now how to carry it on my motorhome
looks like that might do it.
