I have checked the resources but there are no reviews of this company.
I am considering buying a van from this company so l would appreciate anyones comments, negative or even positive.
Many thanks,
Norman.

We bought a Frankia A class from them and found them good to deal with .

We contacted them to view a van and were assured it was there. After travelling over 130 miles is wasn't there as stated.just walked away disgusted.
They may have changed attitude now.

Just checked their website and photos just show caravans but no MHs, so just wonder what their knowledge of MHs is and what they could do for after-sales service on the MH.

The site layout seems to have changed from the Hymer(UK)/Brownhills days when the workshop area looked bigger.

Campbells have 2 (at least) depots around Preston/lostock hall area they were selling motorhomes when I lived there 20+ years ago. Not bought from them, but haven't, apart from post on here, heard anything bad about them. They also own a park home site in Leyland.
I lived in the area for 30 years and can't remember them not being there so probably on the go for 50ish years. They did initially I think, sell only caravans the certainly had some motorhomes in the 90s when I was looking.

Recently moved there motorhome department 40minutes away not sure we’re. Did have some decent vans in when last visited in Lostock. There’s also Todd’s just around the corner

Campbell’s is at Lostock Hall this used to be Campbell’s Caravans, selling almost exclusively caravans. We bought one from them. Sales good but typically poor after sales. The company split into 2 a few years ago, the other company, completely separate is Preston Motorhomes, based at Clifton Nr Kirkham just North of Preston. We part ex’d our caravan and bought a MotorHome from them, again good sales but aftersales less so. Mainly I think because they are so busy.
Massive site there selling caravans and Motorhomes, well worth a visit.

I must be losing the plot. Went to look at Campbell’s Motorhomes which was just over the bridge from Campbell’s caravans a few months ago. When I went back to we’re they had gone they gave me a map on how to get to the new Campbell’s motorhome site. This was about 3/4 months ago. Must of been dreaming.

Sorry. I haven’t been to Campbell’s for a while so they may well have a separate MotorHome section now. I have just dealt with Preston Motorhomes which is the one I thought the OP was referring to. 2 brothers ran the original Campbell’s, they spilt into the 2 separate companies. Hope I’ve not confused the OP. Would agree Todd’s of Lostock Hall worth a visit as well. We would have bought from them but the model we wanted wasn’t available until well into next year.

I visited Campbells last weekend for the first time so I have no knowledge of where they were originally. Driving from the East I drove over a railway bridge and the site was easy to see on the left, Lostock Hall. Lots of caravans and motorhomes there.

Yes. That is the original site. Preston Motorhomes is just North of Preston about 20 mins drive from that site. Todd’s is only about 5 mins drive from Campbell’s.

Campbells have been around forever, nearly bought a car**van from them few years back, they were fabulous but we bought elsewhere for reasons nothing to do with anything they did wrong
As Madmag mentioned, Todds is just round the corner and worth a call whilst you are there

PRESTONS on the other hand I wouldnt touch them with YOUR bargepole

I went to Campbells about 5 years ago to look at some motorhomes. All of the secondhand stock were filthy inside. I told the salesman that I thought they were dirty and he just said "well they are secondhand". Neighbour around the corner bought a new caravan from them and the after sales was dreadful. It had damp in it after a year and it took them another year for them to sort it. To be fair others may have had a better experience. If you're going around the Preston area you have a good choice in Todds. I bought a brand new Adria from Signature Motorhomes Preston and up to now I have nothing but good things to say about them , great service up to now.
