Hello, Just a long shot.
We are heading back to the UK in 10days time and wondered if in any chance the booze hypermarkets in Calais are open.

Having just checked the website I know that the one I use (Calaiswine) is definitely closed. I suspect that all those whose target market is Brits crossing back home will be closed. I just hope that some of them get the go-ahead to reopen before our stock runs out...

You maybe in luck as France is supposed to be opening up a bit from Monday.

The carrefour at cite Europe is open until 7pm.,most of the other calais carrefour should be open similarly, just check their websites.
That's 2 bottles of red for me please.

The only one I think is open is pidou, but only the shop at Transmarck. Check their web site as it may only be click and collect

If youcoming up past Boulogne there’s a massive Auchan just off the motorway, not the peage .

Same. rules apply at home and abroad. Social distancing etc so can't see an issue with stocking up abroad, at least it will save further trips out at home.
