Personally for us the CAMC, but are members of both. We have our favourite sites in each club. CAMC is more consistent in standard of cleanliness of loo blocks(yes that is a deciding factor) :) and feeling of space. I much prefer the rallies for CCC, as they are drop in, you have to prebook CAMC, but good value.

This is our take on it.
Both clubs?? have all singing, dancing sites. Don't want them
Both clubs operate 5 van sites.
Both clubs? have rallies in places all over the country. That's good. However!!!

99% of the time you can turn up at a C&CC rally without booking. Not so the C&MC.
With the C&CC you turn up and pay for the nights you wish to stay. If the weather 'turns' you can leave without penalty. Don't think that's the same for C&MC who want all the money up front.

Hope the above helps.

Long time
We belong to both purely for the 5 van sites and Temp Hol sites!
Can’t remember the last time we were on a Clubsite!

C&CC club for us as suits our needs
We like to rally a lot or just have no frills stop overs so don't need all singing sites.
Their app. "out and about" is very good.

i find CCC are better value if you are a single traveller and they have an age discount. I rarely use CLs as they are more expensive and of more variable quality than the club sites. That said, I'm currently on a CMC site! I belong to both as with membership being about £1 per week each, it's hardly pocket draining is it! I rarely use commercial sites as they are so expensive for a singleton.

Getting better month by month.
We are members of C&CC only because we use "Camping in the Forest" sites which are affiliated to this club and of course the discount you get in some stores etc. Otherwise, I wouldn't be a member of either.

We are in both but our preference is the C&MC as I'm of the opinion that their sites and facilities are a bit better

Both.

Since we only started motorhoming a couple of years ago, like you, we didn't know which is best.

We still don't know! Its cheap enough to subscribe to both and have a wider choice.

Can you find out what the 2019 THS sites are before joining?
We would maybe rejoin if there was anywhere nice, thinking of going to Cornwall later this summer.

Just tried the CCC without loggin in, go magazine, then out and about. I’ll try CAMC for you now and edit this post @Richard and Ann

Managed to get through to rallies for CAMC too, much more complex to get throug to those those. Go to membership, local centre, find your nearest rally then the option to download pdf will come up.

Prefer C&CC as although they have changed the name I think the Caravan Club is still more concerned about tuggers and their needs, and they are very fussy abut how you park up on their sites. I also find C&CC more friendly.

In CAMC and CCC. Agree that CAMC sites have the better facilities. CCC small sites seem better located for what we do though.

There is an out and about app but I can’t remember if you have to login as a member. Happy to have a look at the ths list if you can give me an idea of dates.

We've tried both but thought that the C&CC sites were nowhere near as good as C&MC for their facilities and so didn't bother renewing after the first year. I would suggest you join both for the first year and then compare for yourselves as everyone's needs are different.

Also consider neither unless you tour in the UK which many don't They are if no use on the continent except for some discounts they offer, though apparently some don't actually save you anything

Do you think it helps with insurance to be a member of one of them as it is something at least one of the insurers asks.
