Looking to buy
Exp
2013
I am looking to buy a motorhome my budget is £45k max. We like the layout of Elddis Autoquest 175 although at 7m is max we would go length wise. With the 175 plenty od dealer specials with good extras.
We also like Auto- Trail Impala 615 or Tracker EKS but these are over budget.
So is it worth spending more for tne auto trail? Is Elddis a good make?

No, we have the Elddis Encore 255 7.4m though, and for a Brit van it’s great, zero probs, zero damp. Have a look at the Elddis 275 though for a touch more luxury if that’s the layout you like. Next van tho will be continental, just for a big garage and a different Conti layout and better winterisation.

For both of the questions?
Bit harsh, nowt wrong with our elddis (yes there are many better, some not so) I wouldn’t buy another though, but not because of build quality, more for a different layout as I’ve said in the post above.?

as far as i'm concerned paying anything for an auto trail is a waste of money

I would go for a dealer special if I was you, plenty of extras and a 10year warranty.

I’ve had continental and British and to be honest it’s not worth the extra cost for the continental bling.

cant Seem to find the right layout in the countinental these days either.

B&Q do showers for £50. Cheaper than the equivalent Autotrail. Read the recent posts on Autotrail quality or not.
Good luck with your search.

We had the Elddis 185 for 3 years and apart from the whale heating unit breaking down (replaced under warranty) and a crack on top of the fridge door we were pleased with it. I agree with the above comments go for the best dealer spec. as we could only afford the bog standard dealer offer at the time be it with some extras.
