We have decided to spend a week in Yorkshire around Knaresborough, so being members of the CMC, I looked at the Club site in Knareborough… 2 adults, five nights… total cost of £241….

We haven’t used a Club main site for over 18 months, but have been using CL’s. We have found a CL close to Knaresborough, with elec hook up, adult only, dog friendly and they are ripping us off at £110….

Needless to say we will continue to use CL’sand avoid the main club sites.

Hi.
Had occasion to stop at a main site,last time over (Still members ) It was dear,but. The toilet-shower and wash room block was 5 star, and warm. The site was immaculate and the wardens very helpfull. Very relaxing,but all this comes at a cost. Members still have access to the CL sites and some super " Centre Rally's " When there was an Air Display at " RAF. Waddo " ( Waddington ) rang the organiser at the Lincoln C C ( Then ) . centre,he said there was room and booked us in. We could not have been treated better....... So,there are good bits as to being a member. Thats before you get to the Red Pennant cover while abroad.

Makes one think that they are trying to keep it exclusively for the rich, they are certainly driving the pensioners away with their extortionate prices

We're on a CCC site it's not cheap at _34 a night but we wanted to keep away from the mud on the CL's after the wettest March for years
