Hi Funsters,
we're planning to stay near Venice for two or three days in mid/late September (with a dog). We've looked at a couple of sites on the Jesolo peninsula but would like some recommendations please :) For example Campsite Scarpiland looks good https://www.campingcard.co.uk/italy...ino-treporti/campsite-scarpiland-108050/#tabs but seems a bit of a distance to and from the local ferry terminal to Venice which we obviously want to explore. Is there a car park for a 6 metre van at the ferry terminal? All and any advice welcome! Thanks, Graham

We stayed at Lido Di Jesolo seaside town. You can buy tickets to Venice at the newsagents, which includes bus and ferry return ?

We stayed at Camping Venezia in April. Easy bus over to Venice and it has the best sanitary facilities I’ve ever seen on a camp site. Nice bar, cafe/restaurant, pool and Spa.

Just seen the second part of your post, the bus/ ferry price is the same wherever you catch it and lasts for 24 hours you can go to the other islands in the day for the same money not worth the hassel of finding a park.

We’ve stay there twice, it’s an easy 5 minute walk to the bus stop, buses run every 15 minutes and 10 minutes into Venice. Great shower block, one of the best I’ve seen and they take ASCI.

Camping Miramare, Punta Sabbioni, right at the end of the peninsular in (2016). Short walk to the ferry which is easy access to Venice. Stayed 4 night. Stayed 1 night at Campsite Serenissima, Malcontenta across the other side to Venice but it was not our favourite.

Agricampeggio Da Scarpa at Punta Sabbioni, an acsi site. There are a few places at Punta Sabbioni including a Sosta/aire. A walk down the road takes you to an expansive beach where you can walk the dog.

Also remember lido de jesalo is a brilliant seaside resort, if you are into those sort of places it is well worth a visit while in the area , I love it.
