totally get where your coming from...strange can't wait to be out! Have worked through out the pandemic, but socialising....hmmm different and anxious to be honestMuch as I would love life to go back how it was, I cannot envisage going to motorhome shows with thousands of people milling around and then sitting in crowded entertainment halls watching the shows.
Is it just me?
More likely they'll still be trying to remember where the dances are held.To be honest, the age group that frequent the folk dance weekends will have had their 2nd jabs a while ago

They have amazing energy! I also belong to a short-tennis club where I am one of the youngest members. No prisoners taken there either!More likely they'll still be trying to remember where the dances are held.

How did I know that was coming.Short tennis ? All 5ft or less ?
Big bats and foam balls on a badminton-size court - think the net is the same height. It was a council fitness initiative for over 55's originally, I thinkWhat is 'short tennis'. Do they use a lower net?

I think it’s going to take time to get back to how we were but we are fighters, Bill.I have had next to no contact for almost a year now with anyone outside the house myself and lyn was discussing this just today.
Cant see us mixing much with any one now it's like institutionalization big word going to find it hard to mix with anyone.
I find it hard to just go out
and shielding till April i think

Too much information. You sure it was for Covid?I'm finding that the vaccine gives us a lot more confidence, we have our second one due this week and I can already feel the sap starting to rise.
If you were a bloke that'd make you about 3 foot 6 .I'll have you know that I am 5ft 1inch.

That extra inch makes a difference - so I’m toldI'll have you know that I am 5ft 1inch.
We're Oldham Rugby League fans so we're not worried about crowds. They always announce the crowd changes before the match, then do the team changesNo, I’m the same, very wary of getting involved with crowds, going to have to cope eventually when back to normal and at Old Trafford with 76,000 others. ️️
May have a few drinks first !!!

Life goes on,we will never get rid off it.Much as I would love life to go back how it was, I cannot envisage going to motorhome shows with thousands of people milling around and then sitting in crowded entertainment halls watching the shows.

Snap!I'm even becoming possessive and irritated by the groups of lockdown hoi polloi who are using 'my' leafy twittens and rural footpaths. For 30+ years prior to Covid I rarely saw a soul when dog walking. It's also depressing at the amount of litter they leave behind in the normally litter-free fields and hedgerows; poo bags, crisp packets, Covid masks, drinks cans..........

I do hope you’re wrong, but I wouldn’t bet against you! The test will be next autumn/winter but by that time most will have had the vaccine so the effects shouldn’t be too bad.I think you are all very wrong, maybe you personally will be careful but just wait till they open the pubs again, you won't be able to get near them, folks will flood out, you have only to look at the reports of people out at raves and things even now under regulations, so when they are free to go, it will be like it never happened within a month.
Then we will have the next lockdown.
