Is the Alde in addition or instead of blown air? We have both, blown air to warm van quickly then Alde aqua to maintain. Alde is great, quiet and best of all easy on the sinuses and throat. Not so good for quick heat though.

Are there any weight \ payload implications between Alde \ blown air heating set-ups?
You need to look at how quick it will heat up from cold
Hot air heating is quick to come on, when you need it

Hi.
H ad both,Alde heating went all around the c/van,so at night in the winter, the bed was toasty warm, however,it was power hungry.with electric. We have blown air now in the PVC,we are as warm as toast in that as well. The blown air system we had in a VIP model Coachman c/van,left so much to be desired,we came back to a PVC m/home...Result.
Another thing to watch, the Alde, "Radiator" type thingy's, have very delicate, sharp, fins on,so you have to be carefull when stowing away stuff, just something to have a look at,where they are routed. Enjoy whatever.

I think the gas switches off/on automatically when you reached the required temperature set on the thermostatIf you put it on gas and electric for a short while it boosts it up to temp really quick, then turn the gas off and the electric will keep it ok then.

Alde compact 3000.
The room stat controls the 12v circulating pump.
When the room is to temperature the stat turns off the pump so flow to the radiators is interupted.
The boiler continues to heat the water and is regulated by temperature and overheat (safety) thermostats within the actual boiler.
When the water reaches the pre set temperature the boiler shuts down until the water temp drops then turns back on.
There is a control knob on the boiler which reduces the hot water temp by 10°
The system holds approx 15ltrs of ANTIFREEZE/WATER mix.

I think the Alde covers are rather expensive
Completely different controller.True if on the first click but the top position runs the pump continuously and controls the boiler temperature relative to the room requirement so hot water will be minimal.
