Not the MH but the old 1991 defender 90. Just had my renewal from RAC gone up almost £30 to £170. Gave AF a call got it for £116 same level of cover.

Now where it should be in the review section

Jim has asked me to post re this Co. So;

I had a an accident with a scooterist who tried to turn right when I was overtaking him on a country road.
No signalling on his part and an admission that his indicators didn't work.

As a result of the accident I incurred a £100 excess claim which I attempted to claim back.

Adrian Flux became a chocolate teapot at this point. They engaged a claims 'specialist' to get my
money back, (or did they) and after 12 months of fudge I put my complaint into the hands of the
Insurance Ombudsman. That service agreed I had a valid complaint and I then had to wait the Statutory
8 weeks for Adrian Flux to answer the complaint.

8 weeks later I contacted the IO again and they swung into action.

Three days later I had a grovelling apology from AF promising a 'Hard Copy' in the Post.
Two days later I had my Excess and another grovelling letter.
I wouldn't touch AF with an oversized barge pole.
