Squirrels are vegetarian but will eat a snail if faced with severe hunger.

Rats eat anything even leather and fur:Eeek:

Mmmm!!! still nothing pointing to which i have living under the false floor of the RV then.

reason i ask is i have today removed the inspection cover under the shower tray and found a small pile of broken snail shells.
this void is accessed from the under sink cupboard which, in turn, is accessed from the underfloor void. where the waste pipes exit.
never seen rats around our house but we do have squirrels.
turds are the same size as rat shit but appear to be a different texture.

Snail shells are made of calcium carbonate and once the snail is no more:Sad: another snail will eat the shell as snails need calcium in there diet:thumb:

There are so many jokes that could arise from this post but I won't go there. Could it be that the snails have just gone there, found no sustenance and just died? ::bigsmile:

Regarding the snails. I once had one in an RV and although I never actually saw the thing there was always a trail on the shag pile carpet.

Looking more like a rat then.

shame it isnt a squirrel as i believe they are territorial and there would only be one.

they/it have taken quite a lot of bait and avoided the traps (almost) so the next step is glue mats and a .22 pellet to the head.

 Yep... but not sure about snails Chris. I think they are both sexes (one snail that is), so there would be no need to join together ... they would just take the matter in hand.
